“All of you have the potential to become TN Seshan. The work he has done is being talked about still today. Do that work so that people talk about even after your retirement,” Yogi said.

He said this Government has given working freedom to bureaucrats because this government belives in decentralization of the power. They should perform using this freedom. They should come up new ideas about how that can improve working in particular department or district. But they should not mis-utilise this freedom. “The bureaucrats should respect people’s representatives and take their help in solving people’s problems,” he said.

Chief Minister said that from next month Government will start CM’s Helpline where people can lodge their complaint. DMs should solve these problems and should give genuine feedback to the government. “We will monitor this complaint redressal system and action would be taken if anything is found amiss, he said.

CM did not delve on this issue despite one of the DMs castigated by HC is now posted in Gorakhpur – the city to which Yogi belongs.
