Bomb threat in Delhi's Khan Market, disposal squad at spot

Police squads have been dispatched to New Delhi's Khan market after a bomb threat, but nothing suspicious has been found yet.

Delhi Police received a bomb threat call in the Khan Market area early this morning.

A dog squad and a bomb disposal squad are at the spot.

Nothing suspicious has been found so far.

Khan Market is one of Delhi's best-known shopping destinations.

It is located near a metro station on the Violet Line, and near the Lodhi Garden, an important heritage site.

The market is also located in the New Delhi region, the seat of the Indian government and home to several top government executives and bureaucrats.
