Someone stole the baby Jesus and Mary figures from a nativity scene in front of a church in Bancroft, Ont., OPP said Friday. 

The figures were first noticed missing from the front lawn of the church on Hastings Street S. on the afternoon of Dec. 10.

Police believe they were taken the previous evening, and said there could be multiple suspects. 

The investigation into the theft continues.
