Dimapur, Dec. 15 (EMN): Having received complaints from various quarters especially the business community about donation drives undertaken by unions and organisations during the festive season, Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) has appealed to all concerned to desist from such activities stating such activities are affecting the smooth conduct of business and the public alike.

DCCI has appealed to desist from imposing any kind of donation including selling of lottery tickets and calendars on the business community and shopkeepers at large. DCCI also informed all members of the business community not entertain such donation drives in any manner. They are informed to report to the DCCI regarding complaints of such donation drives.

Further, in view of restoration of normal power supply, DCCI has requested all business houses and shopkeepers to decorate and light up their shops.

DDCI has meanwhile sought the cooperation of one and all to make the festive season a season of goodwill, peace and joy as befitting the birth of the Prince of Peace.
