Man booked for Facebook post against UP CM

Greater Noida: Police have registered a case on Thursday against a man for allegedly posting morphed and derogatory photo of UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Facebook. The case was registered in Badalpur police station against Vishu Pradhan, a resident of Rohtak in Haryana. Police said that the accused is associated with Youth wing of Congress in Rohtak.


The complainant Ved Nagar said that he received a morphed photo of the UP CM on social networking site. "The accused VIshu Pradhan had depicted the chief minister with a woman in indecent position. The chief minister is respected person. We are hurt at this post and demand action against the accused," Nagar said.


Primary investigation revealed that the post was few months old. Surendra Kumar Bhati, SHO Badalpur police station said that a case has been registered against the accused under Section 66 of IT act and 298 of IPC. "We will seek help of the Centre for Cyber Crime Investigation in this matter. We are investigating the case," he said.
