James Rodriguez: Bayern Munich star planned Real Madrid return and PSG transfer deal
JAMES RODRIGUEZ planned to cut short his loan spell at Bayern Munich to return to Real Madrid and then join PSG, according to reports.

Real Madrid loaned Rodriguez to Bayern Munich back in the summer after the Colombia international toiled under Zinedine Zidane.
After a stuttering start to his time in Bavaria, the 26-year-old has rediscovered his best form to drive Jupp Heynckes’ side towards another Bundesliga title.
However, Spanish website Don Balon say Rodriguez was actually planning to return to Real Madrid before experiencing an upturn in form over at the Allianz Arena.
Rodriguez took a while to find his feet, struggling to make his mark.
The sacking of Carlo Ancelotti in September also contributed to his inconsistent displays, with many believing the Italian to be Rodriguez’s last chance of salvaging a career at the German giants.

However, the player is in better form now than he was back then.
Yet Don Balon say Rodriguez was previously planning to cut short his time in Germany.
He supposedly wanted to return to Real, where he would fight for a place in Zidane’s side.
And, knowing the Frenchman is not his biggest admirer, Rodriguez was then hellbent on joining PSG.

Madrid want Neymar as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who has struggled for form so far this season.
And Rodriguez was supposedly willing to be part of the deal to bring the Brazilian to the Bernabeu.
However, speaking recently, Rodriguez outlined his desire to stay at Bayern Munich for many years to come.
"I think Munich is a beautiful city, the club is great and I would like to stay here for many years,” he said.
"I feel great here at the moment and you can see that reflected out on the pitch.
“Most of the things I try to do work out.
“Obviously that has a lot to do with the fact that I've played a lot recently.
“I just want to play my part in helping Bayern win."
