THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The final day of IFFK will showcase three films in the International Competition section. A couple of other films will also be featured in the World Cinema, India Cinema Now, Avalkoppam (With Her): Male Auteurs and Malayalam and other categories.

Randuper, Symphony for Ana and Malila - The Farewell Flower are the three films that are screened in the International Competition section. Symphony for Ana and Malila - The Farewell Flower was received well by film buffs.  Anucha Boonyawatana’s film Malila - The Farewell Flower is a visual exploration of the life of a couple combined with a traditional Thai Bai Sri art and Buddhist philosophy.

Randuper deals with the sensitive topic of gender politics and relationships amid the hardships of demonetisation. The film by Prem Shankar gives a glimpse into the psyche of human emotions and breakups.  Symphony for Ana by Ernesto Ardito and Virna Molina talks about the struggle of students at an Argentinian university during the time of dictatorship.

Alicinte Anveshanam will be screened in the Avalkoppam (With Her): Male Auteurs and Malayalam category.  Eight films in the World Cinema section will be shown at the festival.
