Cygnett Hotels and Resorts plans 103 hotels in 5 years across South Asia and India
Cygnett Hotels and Resorts announced that it has added 11 hotels in the past six months and plans to add more hotels under its Cygnett brand. The company recently opened three new properties – Cygnett Park Di Arch in Lucknow, Cygnett Inn Silver Leaf in Nawanshahr and Cygnett Lite in Udaipur. It also plans to open hotels in Cygnett Inn Dwarka in Gujarat, Cygnett Lite Asia Shripati Katra in Jammu and Kashmir and Cygnett Lite Alwar in Rajasthan.
Cygnett Hotels claimed that it has been on an accelerated growth path, growing its room inventory by a CAGR of 180% and revenues by a CAGR of 137% from 2014 to 2017.
Talking about this growth, Sarbendra Sarkar, founder and MD, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are getting immense support from all over India and overseas by hotel owners. This has further encouraged and challenged us to dig more and provide them with the best technologies and talent for managing the properties. To maintain international standards, we have introduced two new technology platforms. These include a new cloud-based CRM and a next-generation booking engine, Cygnett CX, for the customer satisfaction”.
He added that he, along with his team, is working continuously working towards ensuring that the brand has top of the mind recall in the hospitality industry. “In a short period of time, we have signed Cygnett Lite Asia Shripati, Katra, Cygnett Lite Udaipur, Cygnett Lite Alwar, Cygnett Lite Kolkata, Cygnett Inn Durgapur, Cygnett Inn Mysore, Cygnett Inn in Arunachal Pradesh, Cygnett Resort, Sikkim and Cygnett Residences, Vrindavan. Also, we are planning to open two new properties in Delhi NCR,” said, Alok Verma, CEO of the group.
Cygnett plans to open over 103 hotels throughout 75 cities across South Asia and India in the next five years. It is actively working to add at least eight hotels annually for the next three years, which will work out to about 2000 rooms by 2020.
