Around 18 EoIs from the likes of JSW Group, Vedanta and Deutsche Bank have been received to buy Jaypee Infratech in full or in part.
NEW DELHI: The insolvency resolution professional (IRP) in the Jaypee Infratech case has assured home buyers that all relevant suggestions to safeguard their interests will be considered in the final revival plan for the debt-laden realtor.

In a reply to letters from about 2,400home buyers of Noida's WishTown project, IRP AnujJain on Wednesday told their law firm that all relevant suggestions to safeguard consumer interest, including inputs from Supreme Court-appointed representatives for home buyers Shekhar Naphade and Shubhangi Tuli, would be considered in the plan.

"From theday I assumed my duties as Interim Resolution Professional and thereafter, as Resolution Professional of JIL(Jaypee Infratech), I have taken all possible measures to run the enterprise as agoing concern while keeping foremostin my mind the interest of the home buyers, which shall continue to be my endeavour even in the future," saidJain.

On October 27, Jain had invited expression of interests(EoIs) from companies, investment firms and fund houses with a net worth of over Rs 1,000 crore to complete Jaypee Infratech's delayed projects, including Noida's Wish Town, by infusing Rs 2,000crore or more. Around 18 EoIs from the likes of JSW Group, Vedanta and Deutsche Bank have been received to buy Jaypee Infratech in full or in part.

According to him, the advertisement to invite EoIs clearly said that to be shortlisted for submitting the resolution plan, a person must satisfy the criteria of protecting the interest of home buyers in general — and through timely construction and delivery of flats in particular.

Jaypee Infra home buyers had requested Jain to give them access to relevant portions of the resolution plan. Home buyers in their letter had also sought possession of their flats by December 2018 and compensation for the delay at 18% per year. They also requested proper super-area fixation and a refund of car parking charges and collected services tax.
