49 receive Meena Media Award

Forty-nine professionals yesterday received the 13th Meena Media Award 2017, organised by Unicef, for their contributions towards promoting child rights.

Rajan Bhatttacharya of Bangla daily Dainik Janakantha won the first prize and Mirza Shakil of The Daily Star, secured the third prize in “reporting category” of print media.

Kawser Soheli of Masranga Television, won first prize in “visual reporting” while Santa Rani of Radio Sarabela received first prize in “radio reporting”. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu handed over the awards.
