Mollie, 30, and her professional partner AJ, 23, were eliminated from the much-loved BBC dance show after last week’s semi-final.

Following weeks of swirling romance rumours, the pair lost in the dance off to Gemma Atkinson, 33, and Aljaž Škorjanec, 27, before making their emotional farewells.

However, they have now confirmed that they will not be taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, leaving their legions of fans heartbroken and wondering if the announcement means that they will be going their separate ways.

Many Strictly viewers took to social media to bemoan the absence of Mollie and AJ from the tour roster, with one tweeting: “Someone please tell me why @Mollieking and @Aj11Ace aren’t in the Strictly tour!”

“So gutted @MollieKing @Aj11Ace are not on the tour line-up,” another said. “Don’t even want to go now. A lot of people will be feeling the same I can imagine. Just makes no sense!”

“Why isn’t @MollieKing on the tour?” a third asked. “Her passion for learning to dance has inspired the nation. Isn’t that what #Strictly is all about??? This is just insane!!”

Without a spot on next year’s live tour, Mollie and AJ could be separating for good.

After tomorrow’s final, which will see the eliminated couple’s return one last time, the pair have no further commitments to dance together in the future.

Meanwhile, they sparked hope that they could be continuing their alleged romance with a very cosy reunion snap.

As the cast of Strictly 2017 came together once more to rehearse their group number for tomorrow night, Mollie and AJ could be seen holding hands as he put his arm tenderly around his partner.
