NEW YORK -- New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis left Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets with a sore left knee.
Porzingis appeared to injure his knee on a non-contact play attempting to defend a shot by Brooklyn's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson early in the third quarter. He exited with 9:25 remaining and headed to the locker room with New York holding a 65-57 lead.
Before injuring his knee, Porzingis scored 13 points in 18 minutes on 5-of-10 shooting.
Porzingis is averaging 25.4 points in 24 games this season.
