POONCH: District Poonch Veteran Athletics Championship, organised by the Poonch Veterans Athletics Association, concluded on Friday at Sports Stadium, here. The event was sponsored by the J and K State Sports Council.
While in men’s section different field and track events took place while in women’s category only discus throw event held.
The technical panel comprised Pawan Kumar (PEL), Ramprakash (Ground Incharge), Ravinder Singh (Assistant PTI) , Khurshid Ahmed (Assistant PTI), Narinder Singh (PEM), Tariq Khan (PEM) and Charanjeet Singh.
The Results: MEN: 60-65 yrs: Shot Put: Janak Singh, Ist; Muneer Hussain, 2nd and Kewal Krishan, 3rd.
