BNP demonstration on Dec 18 protesting ‘false criminal charges’ against party workers

“With false cases and arrest warrants, the government is harassing BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Senior Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman and millions of other leaders and activists,” senior leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on Friday.

“The party has decided to hold demonstrations in Dhaka and other parts of the country on Dec 18,” said the BNP Senior Joint Secretary General.

His announcement came at the residence of pro-BNP professional Emajuddin Ahamed, where he went to wish the former Dhaka University vice-chancellor on his 85th birthday.
