ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) — Keith's Auto Sales and Farmers and Merchants Bank are partnering for the 5th year to give a car away to a family in need.
This year, the car will be a 2012 Ford Fusion and those who have worked for the company for several years say it's great to see the family get the car.
"It's just a real good feeling. I've seen all [four] previous contestants come in that won," said Matt May, an Assistant Sales Manager with Keith's Auto Sales, "and it just really warms your heart when you see [those] people, when they see that somebody is trying to help them to get a car."
May says that they really look for a family who may have fallen on hard times or just needs a new form of transportation.
You can fill out a form that asks them about the person they are nominating and why they choose to nominate them. The forms are available at both Keith's Auto Sales locations in Harrisonburg and Penn Laird. You can also fill one out at any of the nine F&M Bank branches in Timberville, Broadway, Elkton, Bridgewater, Edinburg, Woodstock, or the two in Harrisonburg. A form can also be filled out on the Keith's Auto Sales website.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Wednesday, December 20 and the winner will be drawn at noon on Christmas Eve and then notified by phone.
