CHINESE warships are carrying out an incredible show of force close to North Korea in a defiant act aimed as a warning to Donald Trump.

The drills in the Bahai Sea will last until Monday – marking one of the longest naval excursuses carried out by Beijing this year.

Chinese vessels are also set to join up with Russian naval ships, which could suggest Vladimir Putin may side with the communist state when WW3 begins.

The naval exercise comes as tensions between North Korea and the US continue to boil as anticipation builds over fears the secretive regime will carry out a missile test this weekend to mark the anniversary Kim Jong-un's dad’s death.

Kim has a habit of testing missiles and nukes on dates significant to his family’s three-generation dynasty.

      But, neither China and Russia want war in the region and have called on Trump to enter into diplomatic talks with the North’s crazy tyrant.
