Kinnar Jalsa fest held in Puri

A district-level Kinnar Jalsa Mahotsav was celebrated here on Tuesday.

Sub-Collector Madhusudan Dash, social activist Gouri Sankar Singhari, civic body Chairman Jayant Kumar Sadangi, councilor Pradip Kumar Nayak, Kinner Association president Debaki and city DSP Prasant Kumar Patnaik graced as guests.

They said that the kinnars are a part of society and all sorts of supports should be provided to them.

A rally was also held. Nupur Priyadarshini Pusty coordinated the programme. On the occasion, social activists, literatures, journalists and police officials were felicitated.
