MANATEE COUNTY -- A man was fatally shot at a local bar early Friday, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

According to the Sheriff's Office, witnesses report an unknown person fired at least twice into the entryway of Spot 26, 4307 26th St. W., at about 2 a.m.

Jarvis R. Isom Jr., 30, was hit and taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.

The case is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 941-747-3011 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
