During an interview with artist Stormzy on today's BBC Breakfast episode, fans were left horrified as a VT of Stormy performing at Glastonbury flashed up.
Stormy was seen on stage singing his hit song Shut Up when viewers spotted a sex toy being waved around by a particularly excited member of the audience, who was dressed up as a policeman.
The clip, which aired at 9.08am this morning, clearly hadn't been thoroughly checked by BBC staff.

Fans quickly took to social media to laugh at the unexpected gaffe.
One viewer posted: "Maybe a quick check of the clips being used while interviewing on BBC Breakfast wouldn't go amiss?"
Another added: "Stormzy on BBC with them showing one of his live performances with a chap in the crowd casually swinging a massive rubber dildo around… Happy breakfast."

A third chipped in: "All the footage of Stormzy at Glastonbury that BBC could choose from and they went for the policeman waving the 12" dildo about."
One shocked fan wrote: "Nearly choked on my breakfast watching Stormzy on BBCBreakfast. Wouldn't want to have to explain that to kids."
Presenters Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty didn't address the X-rated gaffe, and instead commented that Stormzy tends to "jump around the stage".

Stormzy appeared on the news programme to talk about his new song Blinded By Your Grace pt. 2.
It comes from his 2017 album Gang Signs and Prayer.
BBC Breakfast continues on Monday at 6am on BBC.
