VADODARA: "I want to be a
porn star," declares this woman who was a man just a couple of years back.
Zoya Khan, 24, who was a man till 2015 was not comfortable with her gender identity and felt that a woman was trapped inside her.
Khan claims that she will be the first transwoman porn star from the country. "
Sunny Leone is my idol. When my sex reassignment was being done, I yearned to be like her," she says. On being asked about her identity before marriage,
Zoya denied to disclose it. "I would rather leave that behind and not discuss it," she says.
Khan says that she had risked her life while undergoing surgery and was not willing to depend on a man. "I tried my hand in the film and television industry, but it is difficult to settle there and good work," Khan said.
According to Khan, after her sex change surgery most appreciated her looks, skin and body. "If this is the way I am being looked at and appreciated, I would not mind using them for making a career in the porn industry," she says.
Khan says that she has already discussed her plans with the family and is well aware that legally it was not possible to make pornographic movies in the country. "If needed, I will go abroad for making the movie," she says.
According to Khan, as preparation for her career in adult movies she has got some 'bold' photoshoots done. "Sex entertains several people. I want to be known as an entertainer," she says.
