BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Two Big Sky Conference quarterbacks are transferring to NAIA schools in Montana at the semester break.
Former Billings Senior signal caller Nate Dick is transferring from the University of Montana to Rocky Mountain College, which is in his hometown. Dick redshirted his first season at Montana and was named the Grizzlies' offensive scout team player of the year. He has four years of eligibility remaining.
Meanwhile, Idaho State quarterback Robert Kvinsland is transferring to Carroll College in Helena. He is a redshirt sophomore and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Kvinsland, who is from Gig Harbor, Washington, joins his former high school teammate — running back Major Ali — at Carroll.
Dick and Kvinsland both will be eligible to participate in spring drills at the Frontier Conference schools.
