If you give a kid a tractor, he is going to ask for an empty field. If you give him a field, he will plow a Star Wars crop circle into it, and then he'll ask for a drone to film the circle.

Well that's what Livermore sixth-grader Will Mullen did.

Will and his dad, Mark, cut a 200-yard-wide Rebel Alliance X-wing fighter insignia into their plot of rural Livermore land.

"We welcome members of the Rebel Alliance and any X-wings to land here in our backyard," Will told the San Jose Mercury News. "We are still waiting."

The 11-year-old did the plowing over a few weeks with his family's new tractor, the paper said, while the elder Mullen provided driving directions via radio.
