In 2015 doubles of Kate Middleton and Prince William were spotted in the brand’s Kensington shop.

Chatting about the stunt, Wilko Wimbledon store manager, Peter Butterworth said: “There were more than a few shocked faces and plenty of double-takes as ‘Harry & Meghan’ paid their unexpected visit to our new Wimbledon store.”

Kensington Palace confirmed this week that the American actress will spend Christmas at Sandringham with The Queen and Prince Phillip.

They will be joined by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their two children.

While unconfirmed it is expected that Meghan will joined the royals as they walk to St Mary Magdalene Church on December 25.

Last year the 90-year-old monarch was forced to skip the Christmas Day service due to a ‘heavy cold.’

It was the first time she was unable to attend since 1988.

However, despite her absence Prince Phillip, 95, was still in attendance along with the future king Prince Charles.
