ALBANY - Snow flurries blew into the region overnight, leaving a coating of snow on streets and sidewalks before dawn.

Forecasters predict the region will be hit with a mix of sun and clouds during the day. Wind gusts could hit 25 mph.

The temperature was in the teens early Thursday and should drop back into the teens overnight.

The region will be greeted with cloudy skies on Friday and the temperature should return to the mid 20s.

Snow flurries could return by Saturday morning, forecasters said, though no major accumulations are expected.
