ALBANY - Snow flurries blew into the region overnight, leaving a coating of snow on streets and sidewalks before dawn.

Forecasters predict the region will be hit with a mix of sun and clouds during the day. Wind gusts could hit 25 mph.

The temperature was in the teens early Thursday and should drop back into the teens overnight.

The region will be greeted with cloudy skies on Friday and the temperature should return to the mid 20s.

Snow flurries could return by Saturday morning, forecasters said, though no major accumulations are expected.

Thursday: A mix of clouds and sun. High 23F. Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph.

Thursday night:
Partly cloudy. Low 13F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.

Friday:
Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to cloudy skies during the afternoon. High 26F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday night: Cloudy skies early will become partly cloudy later at night. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 19F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: A mix of clouds and sun in the morning followed by cloudy skies during the afternoon. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High around 30F. Winds W at 15 to 25 mph.

Saturday night: Mostly clear skies. Low near 10F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.
