WATCH | Mohanlal looks lean and young in the new 'Odiyan' trailer!

Much to the delight of fans all over the world, actor Mohanlal's new look for V A Shrikumar's Odiyan was unveiled on Wednesday. In a teaser released on his Facebook page, the actor appeared in a much younger and leaner avatar, thereby offering a peek into the younger version of Manickyan, the protagonist in Odiyan. The new teaser is one-minute-long.

Mohanlal's new appearance caps months-long wait, which began when the director announced the first look of Odiyan which featured Mohanlal in a younger look. According to the director, a team of experts were flown in to prepare Mohanlal for the character. In an earlier interview, he told Express: "This includes a team of 25 people that monitors his diet and workout.

The kind of training they provide is something athletes go through. It includes sucking out water from the body, so as to ensure a trim look." Apparently, the actor worked out over eight hours to achieve the much younger look.
