Source: MRI reveals 'no major issue' on Luc Mbah a Moute’s dislocated right shoulder

An MRI performed on Luc Mbah a Moute's dislocated right shoulder on Thursday showed "no major issue" a person with knowledge of the examination said, adding that Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni's hope that Mbah a Moute would be out no more than two to three weeks sounded "about right."
The individual spoke on the condition of anonymity because the results had not been released.
The Rockets will likely reduce their rotation from nine to eight players with Mbah a Moute out, spreading his minutes among their guards and small forwards. Mbah a Moute was injured when he braced himself on a fall after a dunk on Wednesday. Trevor Ariza, the starter at small forward, picked up the bulk of the extra playing time after Mbah a Moute went out against the Hornets.
"His minutes will go up," D'Antoni said. "You think about it, ideally it's 24-24 (minutes split between Mbah a Moute and Ariza.) He will take at least six of those 24. But Eric (Gordon) could get a little more. Chris (Paul) could get a little more. P.J. (Tucker) could go back to three. I think Luc's been averaging about (25) minutes. We can eat it up pretty fast. I hate it for Luc."
The Houston Rockets remain undefeated with Chris Paul in the lineup, but CP3's reputation as a winner won't improve unless the Rockets can thrive in the playoffs.
Media: Sports IllustratedOf the nine players in the Rockets' rotation, only James Harden, Clint Capela and P.J. Tucker have played in every game.
"We've always seemed to do a good job of picking up," Ariza said. "If somebody goes down, somebody else steps in and does a great job. If that's the case, we're looking for that. We're a deep team. We have to collectively pick up the slack."
