ALBANY – City police said the 60-year-old woman who was last seen Wednesday morning on Second Avenue has been found and is safe.

Police did not give details on where Marilyn Soto Torres was found but said she was in good health and was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital as a precaution.

Torres went missing from her Second Avenue home, which located between Beekman Street and Frisbee Avenue near Hoffman Park. She has a history of mental illness and police were concerned that she may not have been dressed appropriately for the weather.
