
Kinderhook crash kills boy, 4, injures 4 others

KINDERHOOK - A four-year-old boy was killed after a two-car collision on Route 203 in Kinderhook on Wednesday.
State Police said Laura Dalaudiere, 27, of Valatie was driving north with three children in her car just before 2:30 p.m. west of Merwin Road.
Another car, driven by David L. Scott, 56, of Ghent, was headed south when it struck Dalaudiere’s car.
Police did not say what caused the two cars to collide. The crash killed Ryan Dalaudiere, 4.
Lara Dalaudiere and her two other passengers, two girls ages 5 and 11, were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital where they are in critical but stable condition.
Scott was also taken to Albany Medical Center hospital, his condition was not immediately available.
The State Police were assisted on scene by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Chatham Fire Department, Chatham Rescue, Valatie Rescue Squad, Valatie Fire Department, Ghent Fire Department, Columbia County Coroner’s Office, Columbia County EMS Coordinator, Columbia County Fire Coordinator, and Troop K Collision Reconstruction Unit.
