It has been an honor and privilege to serve the residents of Colerain Township over the past two years. I was honored to work with great, professional leadership in Colerain.
Thank you to my fellow trustees, Administrator Dan Meloy, all the department heads, employees and residents who gave me a chance and worked with me to make Colerain a better place to live, to work and to raise a family.
From working with residents to improve our communities and solve neighborhood issues, supporting our superior police and fire departments, repairing township streets without increasing taxes, and enacting policies to enhance economic growth in Colerain. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on my hometown. There has been a great deal of community building as the township and residents have gained an appreciation of a shared role in our local government.
There is a strong commitment to work together to make our neighborhoods better. We are seeing a tremendous amount of economic development here in Colerain. I look forward to the creation of more jobs and additional commercial tax base with the new $20 million Rumpke Headquarters and $26 million light industrial park being built at Colerain and Struble, the new $16 million Duke operations center development at the former Western Home Center on the south end of Colerain and the construction of the new Kroger Marketplace near Colerain and Springdale.
As I leave the position of trustee, I look forward to new endeavors for me, my wife, Cora, and our children as we prepare to welcome our second son in January. From the Inderhees family to you and yours: We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe holiday season!
Mike Inderhees, Trustee Colerain Township.
