"Amid those who went to jail, those who are about to go to jail and those who came out on bail, we are seeking voters by roaming in the heat," she said in a Tamil tweet this morning.



While it can be believed that she was referring to rebel AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran, who is contesting in the by-poll, as 'those who went to jail and came out on bail', her words 'those who are about to go to jail' have led to speculations.

Her tweet has come at a time when the main opposition Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, which has fielded Marudhu Ganesh in RK Nagar is awaiting the court verdict in 2G scam case. On the other hand, some top leaders of the ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam are also facing the heat of corruption.

When contacted, BJP sources said Tamilisai's tweet did not mention anyone in particular and it was a general observation.
