Texans inside linebacker Benardrick McKinney was fined by the NFL for his hit on San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

McKinney plans to appeal the undisclosed fine.

He was flagged for roughing the passer Sunday during the third quarter.
