Comparably.com asked women about compensation, being challenged at work, getting valuable feedback, and other workplace issues. Here are some of the companies that made their lists of best places for women to work. USA TODAY
Amazon, Indeed, Kaiser Permanente, Nike and Toys R Us are among the top 25 companies for diversity, according to Comparably, a compensation, culture and career monitoring website.
Comparably's list reflects answers to questions about salary and benefits, work-life balance, work environment, relationships with managers and coworkers, and other workplace issues from employees who classify themselves as African American, Hispanic or Latino, Asian or Pacific Islander, Native American, or other.
Companies such as Kaiser Permanente, Facebook and Indeed stood out, according to Comparably CEO Jason Nazar.
"What stands out about these companies is that minority employees that might otherwise feel disenfranchised at other companies, often rate their leaders and organizations higher than their Caucasian counterparts," Nazar said.
The lists below represent the best companies for diversity, as rated by their employees on Comparably.com, and are listed in alphabetical order. Large companies are organizations with 500 or more employees. Small-to-medium companies are organizations with fewer than 500 employees.
