In a parallel universe, in a galaxy far, far away, Han Solo is green-skinned with gills, Stormtroopers brand lightsabers, and the main character is a heroic young girl named Luka Starkiller.

Those are just a few of the anomalies that can be seen in the paintings of talented artist Ralph McQuarrie who in 1975 was commissioned by George Lucas to "capture the grand theme, scale, and complexity" of the universe that was only on his mind and scripts.

Naturally, Star Wars turned out to be very different, but students from Florida Technica College's DAVE (Digital Animation & Visual Effects) have created a concept trailer for what might have been The Star Wars.

Besides the female lead and Han Solo's weird outfit, the trailer features a feminine C-3PO, a very different-looking Millennium Falcon and new scenes of combat. It's a little feast for the eyes to watch before The Last Jedi.
