Williams Energy sponsors Christmas hams

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. - Williams Energy is hoping to make the holidays a little brighter for some kids in Marshall County.
The company purchased 45 hams and buns that were distributed to students who may be in need at Moundsville Middle and Cameron High schools.
They also held a clothing drive called "Hoodies for the Holidays" in the Williams office and donated the collected hoodies to the schools.
A handful of Williams employees visited Moundsville Middle to drop off the donations Wednesday and said they hope it helps out some local families.
"Throughout the year we try and reach out. We have volunteers in the community throughout the year, but this time seems like there's always more need. People tend to focus on what they have and what they don't have, so we want to make sure they have what they need," said Sheri Cramblit with Williams Energy.
Williams worked with the Marshall County Family Resource Network to facilitate the donations.
Representatives with the FRN said there is a need for both the ham and hoodie donations, especially in the wintertime.
