Southwest University (SWU) is a key comprehensive university directly affiliated to the Ministry of Education, a university included by the construction of “211 Projects” and Innovation Platform for Advanced Disciplines of “985 Projects” which is located in Beibei District of Chongqing. The university currently comprises 55 undergraduate programs, 46 master’s programs, 21 doctor’s programs, 22 postdoctoral research stations, 3 national key disciplines, 2 key disciplines with national support, and 37 provincial key disciplines. Among its 2,800 faculty and staff members, there are 1 member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1 members of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 12 professors in National “One Thousand Talents Program”, 9“ Cheung Kong scholars”, 2 recipients of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 2 chief scientists of National “973” research Projects, and 14professors in “BaiQianWan Talents Program”. The university got more than 700 national research projects and the research projects and funds increased by33% per year in the past five years. According to statistics of the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database, in the year of 2015, the total number of citations of papers in 6 disciplines (Chemistry, Botany & zoology, Agricultural Science, Material Science,Engineering and Biology & Biochemistry) of Southwest University entered global top 1 %.

Positions and Requirements
A. High-level Talented Leaders
1. Candidates are preferable to be professor or associate professor from the overseas famous colleges and universities who are able to meet the requirements of national top talents programs such as National “One Thousand Talents Program” “Chang Jiang Scholars” etc. And SWU will help to apply those talents programs.
2. Candidates are preferable to be professor or associate professor of famous overseas universities, Academician, or “Thousands plan” candidates, those who can stand 1-3 years duration of employment, and work 1-3 months annually on campus.
B. Excellent Doctors and Post-Doctoral Fellows
Candidates, preferable under 35 years old, are expected to become excellent academic researchers from 1st-class universities in China or internationally.
C. PhD or Postdoctoral Entering Workstation
1. Postdoctoral international exchange program
Candidates should under the age of 35, obtained a doctorate degree of world’s top 100 colleges or universities about a year and work at the station for not less than 20 months continuously.
2. Full time post doctorate
