Three Polk County couples were arrested on charges of child endangerment after their children tested positive for meth last week, according to KTRE-TV. Polk County is east of Hunstville, Texas.

The news station reports the Polk County Sheriff's Office arrested the couples following a Child Protective Services-mandated drug test came back positive from the children, who are all under the age of 3.

Madelyn Paige Burleson, 27, and Earl Buster Matthews, 41, both of Livingston, were arrested on charges of child endangerment and possession of a controlled substance between one and four grams.

The  couple's son, who is under one year of age, ingested methamphetamine and tested positive for his CPS-issued drug test, KTRE reports. Matthews and Burleson also allegedly tested positive for "high amounts" of meth, the report says, and after a search of their home, marijuana, meth and drug paraphernalia was found.

Chelsea Neoma Galardi, 20, and Jeffery Ryan Price, 26, also of Livingston, were charged with felony child endangerment after their child, who is younger than three years of age, tested positive for meth. The report says the couple also allegedly tested positive for "high amounts" of meth.

Enriqeta Reyes and Epitacio Capetillo, 43, of Goodrich, were charged with felony child endangerment after their grandson, who is under three years of age, tested positive for meth in his CPS-issued screening. According to KTRE, the couple also put their daughter, who requires their care due to a head injury, in danger as well.
