HYDERABAD: The All India Democratic Students Organisation (ADISO) and Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) Students’ Struggle Committee has revealed its intention to continue its fight and has called for the boycott of classes on December 18.Reiterating their demand for rollback of the fee hike arbitrarily imposed on students, AIDSO state secretary, R Gandadhar said that the issue shows the highhandedness of the CBIT management.

“They did not follow the democratic process or discuss the fee hike with the students, faculty or parents. The unanimously decided to increase the fee from `1.13 lakh to `2 lakh without thinking about the implications on the students,” he said. AIDSO said that though the college had declared holidays, it will support students.
