NEW DELHI: The BJP is set to retain Gujarat and win Himachal Pradesh, according to predictions by various exit polls on Thursday.

A poll of six exit polls - TOI Online-CVoter, Times Now-VMR, India Today-Axis, News Nation, News 24-Today's Chanakya, and ABP News-CSDS - predicts 119 seats for BJP in Gujarat, which is 28 more than the half-way mark. The Congress, according to the exit polls, will show an improved performance in the state, but still not good enough to dislodge the 22-year rule of the BJP.
