
Avera makes big land play in La Porte

Lincoln Property Co. has boosted occupancy of Intercontinental Park I, an 83,969-square-foot office building at 16801 Greenspoint Park, to 52 percent. Centre Technologies, represented by Gary Lawless of Cresa Partners, signed a lease for 18,073 square feet. Interactive Learning Systems, represented by Steve Jenkins of Vanguard Commercial, has leased 16,126 square feet.Virgil Hydes and Kevin Wyatt represented Lincoln Property Co.in-house.
Avera Cos. announced the acquisition of 369 acres along Bay Area Boulevard, between Spencer Highway and Fairmont Parkway in La Porte, from PPG Industries. Avera sold a portion of the land, totaling 235 acres west of Bay Area Boulevard, to Beazer Homes for a residential development. Avera plans to develop the 134-acre eastern tract for commercial, retail, and light industrial use.
Airswift has renewed a 19,773-square-foot lease at 3050 Post Oak Blvd. Louie Crapitto and Diana Bridger of JLL represented the tenant. Parker Duffie and Jason Presley of CBRE represented the landlord, Sinopec USA.
CGE International has purchased 209.5 acres along U.S. 290 in Hempstead. The property is home to Legendary Oaks Golf Course and Recreation Center, an 18-hole, semi-private golf facility with pro shop, clubhouse, wedding chapel, swimming pool, tennis courts and stocked fishing pond at 43279 Urban Road. Neal King and Jeff Beard of The J. Beard Real Estate Co. represented the seller, SKLK. James Luo with Sunet Group represented the buyer.
Selah Financial Services, represented by Rich Pancioli of CBRE, has leased 4,942 square feet at 1560 Bay Area Blvd. Ashland Group has leased 4,083 square feet at 1560 Bay Area Blvd. Matt Dunn of Spear-It Building Services represented the landlord, 1560 Bay Area Blvd., in the leases.
Avenue Community Development Corp. has purchased the 94-unit Oak Arbor Townhomes at 310 Berry Road. Dmitry Gourkine of CBRE represented the seller, a partnership of Realtex Development Corp. Mary Lawler and Robert Fiederlein of Avenue represented the buyer. The complex contains a mix of affordable and market rate units.
AM PM Diesel Services has leased 3,465 square feet at 14425 Torrey Chase Blvd. Jack Parsons, Jason Gibbons and Amy Rienstra with Finial Group represented the landlord, Najma Ventures.
H20 Consulting Expansion has leased 8,314 square feet at Timber Creek Atrium, 5870 Texas 6 North. Dani Allison of Office Solutions represented the landlord.
