Will it snow again? Latest spaghetti map shows FREEZING Arctic winds plunge temperatures

SNOW could sweep across the UK causing chaos for Britain’s as the latest spaghetti model charts shows freezing temperatures heading towards the country.

Britain was hit by an Arctic blast over the weekend and at the start of this week bringing disruption to the country.

Hundreds of schools were closed and dozens of flights were cancelled as 12cm of fell in parts of the UK.

According to the latest charts, the spaghetti models show freezing polar winds heading towards Britain once again.

The freezing temperatures appear to sweep across Britain on Friday and hold strong until Sunday afternoon.

UK snow weather forecast: The latest spaghetti models show freezing temperatures hit the UK

It is unclear how much disruption the freezing temperatures will bring, but the north of England and western Scotland have been warned to prepare for more snow today.

Meteorologist Alex Deakin said: “It could be slippery on the roads for the morning rush hour. Showers through Thursday will be mostly across the west and they will chiefly be of rain at low levels.

“But again, over the hills of northern England, western Scotland, we will see further snow.

“Eastern areas will have a dry and bright Thursday with plenty of sunshine, but there will still be a chilly wind blowing and that wind will be particularly noticeable again across parts of south Wales and west England.

Temperature wise we are still below average and it will feel cold

"Temperature wise we are still below average and it will feel cold, especially that wind.

"But as I said at least many eastern areas will have a dry, bright and sunny day.”

Britons are now placing bets on whether the UK will see a white Christmas as the festive period approaches.

Bookmakers are offering odds of 4-1 for it to snow in London, but major cities are in with the best chance of snow, according to the firm, with Aberdeen at odds of 7-4, Glasgow and Edinburgh both 2-1 and Newcastle 5-2.

Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Apati said: "It's now more likely than ever that any part of the country sees snow on Christmas Day and as the temperatures continue to drop, so do the odds."

The Met Office has issued its long range weather forecast for the run up to Christmas and cold air is forecast to stay north and east of the UK next week with milder air to the west.

The Met Office said: “To the end of December, showers are likely to turn wintry at times, particularly in the North, although temperatures will probably be milder than average.”
