
Winners of the contest being honoured
The maximum colleges who participated were from IITs and IIITs. There was an all-women team this time from Amrita University, Ernakulam.
Winning team was Team Too Weak Too Slow from IIIT-Hyderabad, first runners-up were Team Encryptors from IIT-Rourkee and second runners-up were Team Bayanak Mouth from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, New Delhi.
Speaking at the event held at Hindustan Institute of Technology & Services in the city, Senthamil Ilango, senior manager, Amazon Web Services, emphasised on the level of perfection that is needed among the programmers as well as the need for a better planning before coding.
He talked on developing a school of Piranha rather than developing a big whale, symbolising the need for a wide network of intellectuals rather than a single winner. Cdr. L R Prakash, director, C-DAC, Chennai, and others were present at the event.
