3:25pm: Arsenal contract rebel Mesut Ozil would prefer a move to Man Utd over a switch to Barcelona.

The German is unlikely to sign a new contract at the Emirates and is set to leave alongside Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.

And the Daily Mail report that he favours a reunion with Jose Mourinho, who coached him for three years at Real Madrid.

2:25pm: Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta believes Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho would be an important signing for the Catalan club.

The La Liga giants are expected to go back in for the Brazilian next month, as well as Colombia centre-back Yerry Mina.

"I think they would be two important reinforcements to the squad," said Iniesta.

"If the club wants to strengthen those positions, it should be with players that can be prepared to withstand the pressure of a club like this, and they would be two big signings.

"But nothing has happened, so it's difficult."

1:30pm: Zinedine Zidane is desperate for Real Madrid to sign Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent months.

And according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Zidane had a transfer meeting with Real president Florentino Perez in Abu Dhabi this week.

They claim the Frenchman told Perez to sign the Chelsea star at the end of the season.

12:30pm: Gareth Bale wants to leave Real Madrid.

Bale, 28, was tipped to join Manchester United in the summer, with Tottenham also said to be chasing the winger.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho publicly revealed his admiration for Bale, however, the Special One claimed a move would be ‘mission impossible’.

And according to Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon, Bale wants out of Real.

They add that United and Tottenham are only willing to pay £60m for the crocked forward.
