Shameless ticket touts boast of pocketing REFUNDS for Peter Kay’s cancelled tour

CALLOUS crooks who made a killing on Peter Kay tickets are pocketing the refunds for the star’s cancelled tour.

AXED: Peter Kay cancelled his entire 110-date Live arena tour

But devastated fans who paid a fortune to dodgy touts for the gold-dust tickets won’t be getting a penny back.

On Wednesday comic Kay axed his entire 110-date Live arena tour – apologising for “unforeseen family circumstances”.

It means touts are set to win twice over.

After already making huge profits selling on their tickets, they will now be handed back the face- value price.

All the tickets were initially sold online, and the repayments will go to the original buyers.

One tout boasted he was heading off for a Caribbean holiday after making more than £1,000 in profit.

Brendan Hindle, from London, crowed: “Merry Christmas, folks.”

He added: “Being an entrepreneur isn’t illegal as far as I’m aware.”

One Twitter user wrote: “This thread makes me want to vomit.”

Another added: “Just goes to show never buy tickets off a tout.”

Kay apologised to fans for dropping the tour with a lengthy statement yesterday.

It added: “My sincerest apologies.
