Replacing MV Rao, Prashant Singh has been made the new ADG (CID). Rao has been sent to Delhi as Officer on Special Duty of Police Modernisation Camp replacing Neeraj Sinha, who has been transferred to Ranchi as ADG (Technical and Communication Services).
As many as five senior IPS officers in Jharkhand were shifted though a notification issued by Home, Jails and Disaster Management Department of the State Government.
IG (Technical and Communication) Prashant Singh has been shifted to CID in Ranchi while IG (CID) T Kandasami has been sent to the Home Guards and Fire department. IG (Provisions) Arun Kumar Singh has replaced Singh as new IG (CID). Singh has also been given additional charge of IG (Provisions)
