Indian national dies in Jessore jail

An Indian national has died in Jessore Central Jail.

Deceased Domi Ram, 50, son of Santo Ram, said acting jailer Syed Hasan Ali.

Earlier on October 16, Kotwali Thana police arrested Domi Ram and he was later sent to jail following a court order, the acting jailer added.

The Indian national felt chest pain around 11:45pm on Wednesday.

He was taken to Jessore General Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
