JAMMU: Semifinals position has been cleared with the entry of Kerela, Haryana, Assam and Manipur in the last four stages of the ongoing 63rd National School Games Football under-17 boys hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), at different venues, here on Thursday.
Now, in the semifinals, scheduled for tomorrow, Kerela shall take on Manipur at MA Stadium while Haryana has been pitted against Assam at Sainik School Nagrota Ground, here.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Kerela beat Punjab 2-1 while Haryana trounced Goa 4-3 via tie-breaker. In other last eight stages matches, Manipur defeated Uttrakhand 3-0 and Assam outplayed Jharkhand by a solitary goal.
Other Results: Pre-quarterfinals: Kerela beat Gujarat 1-0; Punjab defeated Tirpua 3-0; Uttrakhand blanked IBSO 3-0; Manipur downed West Bengal 2-0; Haryana trounced IPSC 4-3; Goa beat Odisha 2-0; Assam outplayed Chandigarh 3-0; Jharkhand defeated Delhi 1-0.
