RONNIE O’SULLIVAN has explained what part of his game needs practice to ensure he becomes the best player in the world once again.

Ronnie O'Sullivan want to work on one part of his game.

O’Sullivan leaped back up to number two in the rankings with last week’s UK Snooker Championship victory.

He equalled Steve Davis’ record at the York-based event to claim his sixth title, and third tournament win in two months.

And from that competition he moved straight onto the Scottish Open where he comfortably dispatched Rob Milkins 4-1 in his second round clash yesterday.

O’Sullivan is now through to round three in Glasgow but he insists that he is still working on parts of his game - despite having 25 years of professional experience.

Sometimes a bad habit comes in over time and disappears over time.

"I am working on technical stuff," O’Sullivan told BBC Scotland.

"You get to a certain point when you know you're happy with your game, and if you're not you're just always tinkering with a couple of things.

"They take a while to get grooved in.

“Sometimes a bad habit comes in over time and disappears over time."

Although he may think he has bad habits, the five-time world champion is certainly not playing like it.

And he will be hoping to continue building momentum for when the Masters gets underway January as he plots his way to the Triple Crown.
