Looking to see LaMarcus Aldridge and other Spurs in the All-Star Game later this season?

The NBA announced on Thursday that fans can cast their vote starting on Dec. 21.

Other key dates and rules for the 2018 showcase were also unveiled on Thursday by the NBA, according to the AP.

The league previously announced that the game would be changing format to include captains choosing sides to increase buzz and competitiveness.

The players from each conference with the highest total of fan votes will serve as the captains, choose from the eight remaining starters and then pick from the pool of players voted as reserves.

Voting on Dec. 21, will only be available on NBA.com and the NBA App. Voting through all other formats starts on Christmas Day.

There will also be five 2-for-1 days where ballots cast through the NBA App and NBA.com will count twice.

Those days are Dec. 31, Jan. 4, Jan. 11, Jan. 12 and Jan. 15 — the day balloting ends.

Continuing a policy instituted last season, players and media will join fans in the voting process. The fan vote accounts for 50 percent, while players and a media panel each account for 25 percent.

The 2018 NBA All-Star Game will take place on Feb. 18 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
