Divyanka Tripathi turns 33: Rare photos of the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein star

Did you know Divyanka wanted to become an army officer? She had also attended Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi to complete a course on mountaineering.

Not only this, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor has also won a gold medal in Rifle Shooting at the Bhopal Rifle Academy.

Divyanka Tripathi began her acting career as a participant on talent hunt show India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004.

A year later, she was crowned Miss Bhopal 2005. Divyanka then started her career in modeling.

In the beginning of her career, Divyanka was seen in telefilms on Doordarshan. The actor feels that it was Doordarshan and All India Radio which gave her the much-needed recognition. She was an anchor on All India Radio Bhopal.

Divyanka Tripathi came into the limelight post her stint on Zee TV's show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann where she played a dual role. She also won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress in the drama category for the same.

Since 2013, we know her as Dr. Ishita Raman Bhalla, the character she plays in Ye Hai Mohabbatein. She has won many awards for her role in the popular Star Plus show.

The actor’s personal life took a new turn as she tied the knot with actor Vivek Dahiya, who co-starred in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. On January 16, 2016, Divyanka and Vivek got engaged and the couple got married on July 8, 2016 in Bhopal.
