Arsenal star Mesut Ozil makes final transfer decision over Man Utd or Barcelona move
MESUT OZIL would prefer a move to Manchester United over Barcelona, if Arsenal cannot meet his extortionate contract demands, according to reports.
The Germany international is out of contract at the end of the season and has been stalling on an extension at the Emirates Stadium.
It is said the Gunners have offered Ozil an improved deal of £235,000 a week to stick around in north London.
But the 29-year-old is holding out for a contract in the region of £300,000 a week.
Arsene Wenger revealed this week that the club are still trying to persuade Ozil to stay, and their efforts have been increased because they are also set to lose Alexis Sanchez next month.

United manager Jose Mourinho coached Ozil at Real Madrid and he is keen to be reunited with the playmaker.
According to the Daily Mail, the German would favour a move to Old Trafford over the Nou Camp.
It is thought Arsenal may look to cash in on their star in January, rather than letting him leave for free in the summer.
He would also be able to sign a pre-contract next month if he wants to moved to foreign club.
But recent reports say United are his preferred destination.
Mourinho and Ozil won the La Liga title and Copa del Rey when together in Madrid.
